In order to be able to create and publish Object Records or to use the API you must first sign up for an eHive account. An account can be associated with an individual or organization and can be used for cataloging Object Records or simply just to generate API Keys so you can access the API.
An account comes with a Public Profile page which is visible to all visitors to eHive. For every eHive account there is the option to customise the Public Profile page with information about yourself or your organisation. For more information you can read our help about eHive accounts.
Accounts owners can join Communities and can publish their Object Records to any Communities they are members of.
